Just came in from the shop. 12 hours, gets alot done. Most of the car is black, new owner wanted jambs done so i figured I would paint everything off then put everything together. Tiki (the new owner) will be assembling the car. I must say for the time spent this car looks good. Way better then when i saw it on C/L for months. Now that this one has a home, Victory tells me she's ready for the next 510 project :huh: . Quote Link to comment

Thanks to Atom we were able to paint the fenders, hood, trunk lid, and doors today. Finished up sanding everything, and to the booth. Even got the new owner to strip n clean the floors for sealer, way cool Quote Link to comment

Put the fenders on temperately, Tiki will finish putting this bad bomb together. Should of been done awhile before, but need to weld in a floor patch and seal it. Quote Link to comment

He did take a few parts from it. We installed a set of pretty coilovers with new inserts. Shaving some new fenders, and looking for a weber carb. Quote Link to comment
the510keeper Posted August 31, 2011 Author Report Share Posted August 31, 2011 Well now we are completely painting this surprise and making it turn key. This car was so neglected when I picked it up 12-16 months ago. Phils put a lot of hours in making it run and installing the dash and heater. We have Atoms wrecked 4 door for donor parts. We been mostly getting parts ready for paint, going through the act of sanding primering sanding primering. Even some sand blasting while we were set up for it. Had to abandoned the shaved doors, for doors with handles and the last owner took the fenders we worked out. So we will be shaving the fenders to match the rest of the car. We are focused and ready to put this in it's owners drive way. We have done a lot of work to the body of this thing, but panels keep changing. Here is the update.
