Trophy24
I had to modify the hole in the spacer for my 210 booster to run a 7/8" master. Check the fit for a 1" Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Those should look pretty good, not bad looking for a modern concave style wheel. Unfortunately the Black with Machined face were discontinued. They sent me the Silver finish like the red impala above. I might paint the insides black. Not sure. I had to modify the hole in the spacer for my 210 booster to run a 7/8" master. Check the fit for a 1" Will do. Worst case I'll make a new spacer. I might anyways. I think I'll order it tomorrow. I decided in order to get motivated I'm going to focus on finishing the brakes and get the car drive-able. This will light a fire under my ass to finish the sheet metal and everything else. Been so busy lately with work. 2 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
I know a pretty good powder coat guy, he can be kind of a dick though. 2 Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Good idea. If they weren't mounted and balanced already I'd definitely do that. I'll probably drive as is and maybe do a test with plastidip later. If I like then powdercoat. I ordered the Brake booster with reservoirs. I also ordered another 3" v band for the back section of exhaust. Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
A little bit of top secret info.... This car will most likely move for the 8th time hopefully Jan-Feb time frame. I will be buying the house it moves to and I'll be close to the wolfman! 1 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Not so top secret now is it... Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
You don't know where or why.... ;) Quote Link to comment
q-tip
That's true, but my logic would suggest that a possible job change has been the catalyst for another move much like the last one....we shall just patiently wait an find out. Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Nope :) Quote Link to comment

Josh K.
Eventually I'll have the time and energy to get back to work on the 510... Until then I'll leave these. 1 Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Any plans for more low? And good choice on the wheels. 1 Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Thank you. Yes it's going lower. I ordered GM Lowering Springs but after I ordered them they updated the description staying they lower the car by 10mm. 10mil? 0.3937"? WTF? I'm sending them back and waiting for a good 1" front 1.5" rear drop. hopefully Eibach releases the Sportline springs for my car. I LOVED those on my 240sx. Lowered but compliant. q-tip
10mm is a joke, why even bother making them. Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Makes no sense. They claim they're "sportier".. Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Probably a bit stiffer than stock, but come on, 10mm and they call them lowering springs? Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Yeah it's absurd. Quote Link to comment
tr8er
Probably wouldn't even rub at 10mm. Dumb Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
So I lost motivation the last couple months.. just too much traveling for work. Burnt out.. I did manage to hit a huge ass pothole in my Malibu. Damaged both passenger wheels.. Filed a claim with the City and will get them straightened.. another dude hit the pothole and his car had to be towed.. I have almost all the pieces to finish my brakes. Got the Wilwood master and remote reservoirs. Also brake line clamps. Ordered rivot nuts and installation tool. This way I can install them into the sheet metal and bolt down the brake line clamps.. I really dig the Wilwood master. You can use the brake bleeder screws on either side. This is great because I can mount them on the outboard side away from my turbo! Another cool thing I found is the white caps that replace the reservoirs will fit the stock master. Heads up to anyone running a Nissan master and wants to relocate the reservoirs. I'll get to work here soon enough ;) 1 Quote Link to comment
Draker
You sure that's a pot hole and not a sink hole? That shit is deeeep! Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Yeah and I had a few drinks before I hit that bitch... Luckily I drove home before the front tire went flat... The other guy (one of many I'm sure) couldn't get the wheel off his car it was so f'd up... Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Your right though. I wonder if the storm pipe had collapsed? You can see the manhole right next to it... Quote Link to comment
mklotz70
Are the firewall mounting holes on the wilwood m/c spaced the same as the 510 m/c? Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
No. You have to elongate them. Here's a great guide. http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/102754-a-one-inch-diameter-brake-master-cylinder-for-the-s30-z-cars/ 1 Quote Link to comment

Size of the master? Are the bottom fittings metric or SAE? Quote Link to comment
