So I got some rear coilovers finally, hence the laying frame lol picked up some used Megan Streets for $300 shipped, I couldn't really complain lol, and they seem pretty nice quality as much as everybody hates to say it, the only thing I want to do is get some 8k springs for them, and upgrade to the Track dampers if these go out anytime soon.

moar interior oics will deffo come once I get my Recaros redone and in, along with new carpet lol

 

motor looks like crap to me, so no oics of that :P

 

and today I went to the junkyard and grabbed the rear subframe ouf of the 280ZX in there, along with all the bolts and even what appears to be a new Nissan diff mount:

no toe adjustment... wtf was Datsun thinking >:U this will soon be fixed :B

<3 this pic and I guess I'll just hold onto this little guy till I do a real restoration one day, for now it will be a template to make my solid diff bushing :D

old, buttery stupid subframe bushings will also be replaced with solid units once I get the materials and have them turned.

didn't realize how involved this task was... and it looks like crap too :(

You can buy square tubing with just about perfect ID for these. I can't remember the size or wall thickness, but there is one that is very close and works well:

Hard to see in this pic, but here is my new inner mount and the stock outer mount, both having the same ID:

Easier to make the mounts and then weld them on in place of the stock ones.
