PurePontiacKid Posted February 20, 2011 Author Report Share Posted February 20, 2011 yay actually did something on my car!! this is one last pic of my lip before I took it off then I went ahead and decided to check my diff bushing, I knew it was bad, just wanted to see how bad (luckily I had a spare I had already filled with 3M Windo-Weld) here is what a good, stock, almost new diff mount looks like up close: here is what the one in my car looked like when I pulled it out: and this is what it did when I was pulling it out: yay me! but I'm glad I replaced it, the whole rear of the car doesn't feel squishy/squatty anymoar, and even bottoms out less, even being at a lower height! very happy! PurePontiacKid Posted March 9, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 9, 2011 ^LOL alright here is the kit, it looks like shit but I've got all the back side of the craks filled in (fiberglass, no bondo here! lol) and just need to get the outside stuff filled in (with 'glass again lol) then I can make it look nice and here it is on the car I pulled it off of in the junkyard: reparations in progress: and even better news is that I finished the carrier of my VLSD project and I might be getting a pair of control arms and I'll have all the hard parts of my rear subframe project collected and just need to clean it all up and put it together!
