How To Find Lost Keys

If you lose your keys or buy a Datsun that has no keys, its okay!! you can get a Key made for it. all you have to do is

 

1)Remove passenger side lock

 

2)Take lock down to lock smith

 

3) Wait about 20 min then go back

 

4) Start you Datsun

 

Just about every Datsun I own or Have owned,I have had to do this too......

 

also some people say you can take the gas lock down but i have always used the door lock and it has worked every time

i had my toyota done from the vin..the lock smith is a friend of mine and gave me the key code for so now i just need the key blank and can make my own if need to

if you have AAA, they will cut a new key for free :D

My 411 is an insurance company nightmare but really convenient. Flip back the swiveling cover over the gas cap lock and the tumbler number is plainly stamped on the lock face. Don't know if this carried over to 510s, take a look.

only works if your ignition switch hasn't been replaced like mine had :lol:.

My door key is different than the ignition key on my 521. Besides, I leave the keys in it most of the time!!:eek:

In the two years I had my 620 I always had the key in the ignition. It never got messed with. :lol:

 

I won't be doing the same with the 240Z ;)

i made that mistake on the 510.

got a set of JY locks and keyS and i forgot to grab the gas door lock :mad:

Or you just find the key-code on a sticker inside the glove box door.

my truck dosnt have keys. i just lean on the hood all cool give it a thump with my fist. it starts right up. i wonder why they call me the fonz :mellow: :lol:
