This is what I did.

I plasti-coated CHapman's beat up miss-matched blue airdam to a nice graphite color. First time using any plasticoat type stuff. I can see why folks like it! Goes on so well. THis spook is beat to hell so it didn't have to be pretty, but it is a heck of a lot prettier than it was.

Also installed some fog lights I had around.

And I had a white color pencil in my hand so I doodled. Might be kinda fun to treat it like a chalk board. Remove and redraw whatever I am feeling.

Had to remove the awning while the help was offered. But I did find a nice one of these, the one on the bottom. Gotta find the other side then put them on the goon.

Started tearing apart my L20b to replace head gasket....

Valve cover showing signs of coolant already mixing with oil.

All head componenents appear clean and undamaged.

You can see on the header that cylinders #1 and #2 were burning coolant.

I also found heavy oil residue in the intake of #1 and #2, i suspect valve guides are shot.

#3 and #4 look clean.

why does that street look barren lol!

Not sure if your referring to the pic looking up hill from my building. It was Sundau and it gets pretty slow in the old downtown area that day. But did get to get some antifreeze in the goon and crank her up yesterday. To busy getting work done on the building right now to do much else. My plan when I retire is to drive nothing but my antique 510's each day and use the newer car for longer trips. The biggest issue will be which one will I drive today? If I get a few more then I can just rotate them one a day.

I fully support this plan

Figured out I have no compression in the third cylinder on the motor in the goon. It had been rebuilt way back but after running it for a not too long time I had taken it out and it sat on the floor for a good while. So I guess I will have to pull the head to figure it out. I guess a valve is not seating good.

I don't know if i solved the issue fully but I posted a video with some info and progress in the engine section. It seems to be working much better now.

Here it is

Finally got wipers.

Rigged it up to operate on single speed but I think I figured out the proper wiring

Sequence to operated the two speeds.

Slow and slower. Almost think I should keep it

At one speed and just figure out how to get it to park properly.

My reason is , it seems faster on single speed.

Simply put. It has power and ground.

Haven't had much time to do anything due to all the other things going on like getting work done on the building and fixing a few guitars for a few friends.

But I did buy a few things for the Goon, not sure if or when I will get to use them. Gotta keep up with Tanker.

Been kinda busy lately with the building transformation. Trying to make plans for the Goon. Gotta find the backing plates for the front struts I had shortened and get inserts. And get that thing lowered.

But I did get a couple of shift knobs for the Goon and the blue car all apart.
