    • Cool truck man. Pretty sure you e got a ‘69 521 not a ‘67 520. Yes they both came with a 1300, but you’ve got a 521. At least that’s what it looks like to me given that grill set up.  -Pidge
    • She is fixed!   The floats were a little too high and the spark plugs, although gapped at .035, needed to be gapped at .030.   I have also discovered that the distributor cam lobes are pretty worn, as is the rubbing block on the points since I now realize I never lubed it. Whoops! As a result they don't spread very far when trying to gap them. Will get a new set and probably a new distributor in the near future.   Thanks for all the help again y'all!
    • I notice that my brake lights were staying on all the time. The problem was at the brake pedal switch, it became loose so i unplugged one terminal and tight the switch. when i connec†ed back the terminal I accidentally touch the other terminal and I could see a tiny spark. After that my truck wouldnt start. Since is stickshift, i pushed it and started on second gear. Drove it for 20 minutes, ran fine then turned it back off and turn it back on and nothing, no juice whatsoever so ipushed it againg and started like that. While driving home i turn on the lights and the truck lost power, turned lights off and gain power. Got home and while the truck was on i took the negative terminal off the battery and truck died. So my question is what did I burned? I check the fuses and they are all good. thanx in advance
    • Yeah I've heard that term a lot. Fancy term for do your own research then flip a coin.
    • The school of hard knocks taught me to be reasonable.  Inflexible things break, and there’s nothing worse than having a broken cop or military.  I really think most of our laws need to be like: “You will not kill other humans, except in defense of life, limb, liberty, or property.  Violators will receive a minimum 10 years confinement in prison and a maximum of being hanged.”   I know how open that leaves it for attack, so I’d suggest someone else write them, but I think they should be short and concise.  If a law statute cannot be posted to Twitter it’s too long.    What kinda show and tell are you looking for?  I’ll add this, if you’ve never fired a compensated pistol, I’d suggest trying it.     Here’s a pair of Department issued Sigs.  They’re both DAK (double action only) and had malfunctions.  It was under $400 for the pair shipped to me.  Honestly I never found out what the P229’s issue was.  I dislike the .40 S&W DAK P229.  So, I took all that shit off and converted it to a DA/SA.  It’s definitely an exorcise in patients getting all the springs to align, but nothing anyone who drives a Datsun can’t do.   The P226 just needed an ejector spring, so a quick swap and it was back to tossing .40 SW down range like it had before.
