banzai510(hainz)
what will they go on? Your Z car, 8in and +4mm will it clear the fender Quote Link to comment
Bleach
going on the silver 280ZX turbo. the ZX has deep fenders. 8 inch wide has room in front. Rear wheels have room to spare even with 9 inch. I may even run thin adaptors on the rear in the future to push those wheels out to the edge. Going with slightly staggered tires even though the wheels are the same width. 225/45-16 245/45-16 I had to custom order these. Ordered them back in September. :D Just got them on Tuesday. I'm going to try to scrape together some money for tires now. My new house purchase has me spent. Quote Link to comment
Skib
:drool::drool: where did you find 8in Rota RB-R's? they wouldn't happen to have a set in 9in would they? killer looking wheels :fu: Quote Link to comment

Cuts metal like mad
so this is why your selling the turbo swazi's! Nice! Quote Link to comment
Bleach
yes this is why I'm selling the factory wheels. I found them at 18racing.com I called in my order so I could get the exact size, offset, bolt pattern, and color I wanted. Special order. Color is hyper black with polished lip They do not have anything wider than 8in in a 16" diameter. they do have 17x8.5, 17x9, and 17x9.5 in zero or negative offset. Also, +4 is the lowest offset they offer. I asked. No neg or zero in 16x8 :D Quote Link to comment
Skib
hmmmm, I might have to ponder a stagger. When I get around to picking up new wheels Ill be looking for an 8in width minimum all around, wider on the back if I can find/afford it lol Quote Link to comment
Bleach
you have different fitment on an S30 than the S130. 8 wide zero offset is flush with the fender but wont' tuck. Quote Link to comment
Skib
Ya my fenders are already rolled to fit my tires now lol but Ill be getting ZG flares to fit the wider wheels on the S30. Quote Link to comment

hughdogz
^^ x2. Can't wait to see them mounted, Bleach!! I was going to get the same ones for my S130, but I came across that deal on the Volks that I couldn't pass up! I think these will look better on a ZX than my Volks do. :fu: [Edit: Are those Royal Hyper Black, or Gunmetal Gray??] [Edit edit: Nevermind, I see RLHB on the sticker.] Edited January 25, 2009 by hughdogz Quote Link to comment
Burabuda
they do look good i just hope they are not like the other style rotas that have been cracking... bleach didn't respond, so i will i've done a bit of research on rota's cracking, and let's just say it doesn't amount to much more than the same pics and third-party stories Edited January 25, 2009 by Burabuda Quote Link to comment
Z_Rac3r
How many people here have used Rotas, I've heard the stories of them cracking also so its scared me away from them, but I want the Rota Slipstreams for my car.
