Mr.Dean_Yates
I've found a few sets of staggered size 14" old ssrs on eBay. But I'm gonna clean up the appliance meshies I have and rock em for a while. I wanna get her on the road and running strong before I worry about the minor details. But sir, I may take you up on that offer if I like what you have. Post up! Quote Link to comment

B-Mackin
My current set up is SSR Linea Sport Crimson Mesh 15x6.5 +12 with Toyo R888 205/50/15's. Had to do a mild roll in the rear to prevent rubbing. My old set up was Riken Mesh 15x6 +32 with Toyo R888 205/50/15. Had to run a 5mm slip on spacer to keep them from rubbing on the inside. 1 Quote Link to comment
russaroll
185/60r14. the tires are a bit tall and rub at full lock and going in and out of driveways. they do fill up the wheel well. i think i might try a set of 195/45r14 next. 5 Quote Link to comment

Where can you find 195/45s I assume they would be a peformance/track compound if you could find them? Quote Link to comment

fisch
Quiz time! Check these bad boys out. 13X6 with fat Goodrich t/a 50s! And nope, you are wrong if you think they are Appliance DiaMag wheels. Stamped Datsun and Toyota on the back and the name of the manufacturer. Who can guess. Think Italian. Very little info out there on them, but Alfa guys know. They probably just didn't know they made them for our lowly Datsuns too! (Center caps aren't the maker, just the style.) 2 Quote Link to comment

fisch
Those are sweet! Thanks man! No one guessed so I will let the cat out of the bag. They are Italian E.S.A.P. Monte Carlo rims. But this is the only Datsun/Toyota set I've been able to find on the net. This is the back. 1 Quote Link to comment
fisch
More info thanks to Ryan Lynchberg. From this: And this from a dutch forum: I guess they are related to the famous 3-piece Speedlines: 1 Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
Picked up some old school steelies to play with. Cut the faces out and flipped them in the barrel to create deep dish steelies. The new setup is a 13x5 et -6. Stock is on the right, with the silver lip. Flipped is on the left with the black lip. 5 Quote Link to comment
fisch
nice work. Ive never seen that style of steely reversed. looks great! Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Thanks. That's part of why I chose them. I wanted something more than the normal 12 hole or whatever. I want to do a set in the future of the style in the pic below. They are usually spare tires, so I would need 4 spares and 4 normal rims to do it. 1 Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
I cheated and put my rims on a brake lathe. Used it to cut the welds. Dablist, another member on here, did it with a 4.5 inch grinder and a lot of careful cutting. 5 Quote Link to comment
chandlerGTi
Had these Carroll Shelby Racing wheels on the roadster. Compomotives and Revolutions on the 1200. Quote Link to comment

Stevexc
Haven't posted in a while and have a few new additions so thought id add them. I had a stuff up with the Impul pro meshies I posted a while ago, the seller had a set, selling as 2 pairs. I only wanted the 7s so bid/won them. When they arrived the seller accidentally gave me one of the 6.5s and one of the 7s. Luckily even after the 6-7 weeks of sea shipping the seller still had the other pair so ordered them so now have a set. Next is a pair 15x8+14 SSR Meshies. These are for a guy I sold another pair too and he wanted a set. I sold the other set of 5 stud Star Sharks I had a while ago, so when more popped up I had to get them haha. These ones are only 14x6+10 though. Considering holding onto these for a while and running some step up lip to 15x9/10s or something crazy. Set of 14x6.5+10 and 14x7+-0 Early Styled Volk meshies- Pair of 16x8+13 SSR Meshies- Seller took the ad down after I wont and didn't get a chance to save photos for these =( Pair of 16x7.5+14 Impul Pro Meshies- Pair of 15x7.5+8 Late style Volk mesh- and a set of 15x7 late styled Volk mesh- Quote Link to comment
