Yellow
Will these fit on the fenders of a 73 620? Like.. Just curious if i need to sticky tape them or if they work with the stock holes and inserts Fyi they're already ordered because these are (in my opinion) the best looking emblems. https://m.ebay.com/itm/DATSUN-New-METAL-FENDER-EMBLEM-For-Datsun-1200-Coupe-Pair-/192301806083 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Stick them on. To each.. their own. I think the '73 fender emblem by far the nicest 620. 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
L16s were in the '73, L18s in the '74 and L20Bs in the '75-'79 620. 2 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Those emblems you posted have pegs on the back side. Pegs fit through holes in fender and clips on the back side to hold them secure. I don't see the clips in pic. 1 Quote Link to comment
KELMO
Those emblems look like the rear quarter emblems on a 1200. For reference... On the car. Ok, it is a little out of focus but you can get an idea. EDIT: Another idea, if they do not come with the clips, is to cut pieces of vacuum hose to go over the part of pin that sticks through the fender. Not my idea but something I picked up somewhere along the way 1 Quote Link to comment

I think those are similar if not the same ones I'm using on my 521.... I welded the original holes then Made a cardboard template to drill the holes.... You might get lucky with just drilling new holes, and the emblem covers the old holes.. 2 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The cursive script befits a car more than a truck, I think. 3 Quote Link to comment
Bstock
Do you guys know a good way to repaint the decals? On my B210 I have all three decals but the color is worn out of them. Should I just paint them with some gloss paint as if I were painting a model car/airplane? 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
They're chrome covered? Anything should do. 2 Quote Link to comment

Why screw around with rubber hoses that will start to deteriate as soon as they meet smoggy air ? 2 Quote Link to comment

Charlie69
Kelmo is correct the OP link is to a 1200 with an automatic transmission, standard transmissiom 1200s were non cursive lettering. 3 Quote Link to comment
