az_rat210
In case I do not make it on here tomorrow. To all my fellow Veterans glad to see you survived, do not forget those freebies out there. To those who have not served but have lost a family member who did, my condolences and find peace in the fact we remember them also and thank them for the sacrifice. az_rat210 James 8 Quote Link to comment

a.d._510_n_ok
thanks to all who served especially you guys who saw combat. I did not. I was blessed to serve just as the wall in Berlin came down and just before the Balkan wars flaired up. for me the army was a gateway drug to lots of vehicles. when I was stationed in NJ I worked afterhours for a local used car dealer who let me trade a couple of times a month if I wanted to. then there was the army stuff..... 3 Quote Link to comment

a.d._510_n_ok
for those who don't know, this song is a true story. Ira Hayes was one of the marines who raised the flag on Iwo Jima and then came home to a country who forgot his bravery. Quote Link to comment
dhp123166
Not gonna start a political rant. Veterans keep the conflicts overseas from coming over here. We are truly lucky that we have never had a war on these shores (other than the first one and fighting amongst ourselves). Bless'em all! Quote Link to comment

danfiveten
I still feel art deserves a bench, or plaque of some kind on that corner. So many years he spent on that corner, he deserves something to be placed there.
