The US labels everything bacon. Peameal is a kind of bacon (usually rolled in corn meal)  just like back bacon and side bacon. If you're in Canada and ask for bacon you'll get side bacon (strips) called simply bacon. I know of no where that serves peameal bacon or side bacon, though you likely can get it in the stores.
