HRH
YEEESSSSSSSS!!!! It looks badass!!! Who's going to see it?! May 15th release date, just saw the trailer! 1 Quote Link to comment
laotsu
I usually piss all over reboots, especially when the subject is a childhood favorite like Mad Max. But I think this might be really cool. Charlize Theron does a really good job in the movies she's in so that lends a bit of credibility to it. Quote Link to comment
q-tip
You just now saw the trailer? Where you been, in the garage working on a Datsun or something? But hells yes I'm going to see that shit, its a mad max movie, it can't be bad. 3 Quote Link to comment

q-tip
Thunderdome wasn't bad it just wasn't as awesome as the first two. I'm excited just because they kept to the original special effects style, actually wrecking shit and blowing it up Quote Link to comment

RatVonDude
the new one seems more like a remake of Road Warrior,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i'm a little leery, but maybe its good 2 Quote Link to comment
HRH
It looks like they twisted the story a little though. They band together to fight what would have been the Humongus. Two fighters, not Mad Max and the fuel makers. I can't freakin' wait. Should be epic! 1 Quote Link to comment
laotsu
Aussie goodness!!! Tom Hardy is British and Charlize Theron is South African. It's first location on IMDB is Namibia the production company is South African George Miller, Australian Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
I'm excited for it. It's the same guy making it, George Miller, as the originals. If there is going to be a reboot, it's hard to ask for better than the guy who made it awesome the first time. DAMN STRAIGHT IT'S AUSSIE GOODNESS! 3 Quote Link to comment
Fat510
Couldn't be any worse than the marvel Avengers shit that's going on But probably not as good as the original :( Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
Mel actually approved of the casting, before filming started, after he met with Tom Hardy. Him and George discussed the future of the franchise before George even wrote the screenplay. I for one will be seeing it in the theater, I've only see Mad Max films on TV. I do keep reading the title as Furry Road though  1 Quote Link to comment
cjack300zx
I can not wait This looks to be sooooo awesome! I won't be able to go see it when it comes out on the 15th I'll be at Disney World Quote Link to comment
Ratwagon1600
The article is a bit hmmmmmm, but its got a pretty cool trailer with bits I havent seen in other ones. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3052790/He-bored-Tom-Hardy-reveals-meeting-Mad-Max-predecessor-Mel-Gibson-awkward-goes-shirtless-rugged-magazine-shoot.html Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
It will surely end up being Gone In 60 Seconds II ,,,,,,,,,,, the Mad Max version... What makes the older movies so great ,, will be completely FUCKED UP with a heavy handed CGI company trying to show moviegoers what they are "supposed to" like. I will see it some Saturday after noon after a re-reun of Matlock.. for reals Quote Link to comment
