kaoss
Whoa! lookin sick! one question though, why not cut the whole floor out and move it up? Now that I'm balls deep in the cab, this would have been a better option! I was hoping that the lowered body mounts would have taken the cab down lower than it did, and that the frame wouldn't have been so far into the cab when done. 1 Quote Link to comment

kaoss
Needed a little more light to work, so I screwed a light to a piece of wood and used the factory tire tool clips to hold it up. For fun I got 2 pieces of the drivers floor board done. I've never dabbled in sheet metal work before. I hope I can turn out something presentable once it's done. 2 Quote Link to comment

kaoss
I want moar!!!!! Can someone fill me on what he said about the c notch directly relates to how big of a tire you run???? Love this build just wasted so much time at work reading this! The taller the tire the higher up the top of the axle tube will be. The higher the top of the axle the more frame clearance needed. Next time you're at McDonalds grab some lids of various sizes and some straws, pretend the lids are wheels are the straw an axle. In fact, make a little car frame out straws with the big mac container as the cab. Chicken nuggets as passengers. Make sure to make car sounds as you do this. 7 Quote Link to comment

kaoss
Thanks. Nothing too sexy. Just me struggling with sheet metal work for the cab. The driver side no longer has any giant gaping holes. 1 Quote Link to comment
