I read threads like this and it makes me want to build a mini again. I always did static drops but I've always wanted to get into bags. Then I remember I'm a pest control tech whose also paying 20gs to get professional welding certificates and who rents a house from a slum lord...I barely have enough to start working on a z that's already running and driving hahaha

Well, after the body drop there was an issue with the solid steering shaft hitting the fire wall. I trimmed the tube around the shaft and got it mounted within 1/8" of it's original spot. I drilled one hole out a little lower and reinforced the frame using a piece of 2x3 that I cut out. I'm still not super happy that I couldn't replicate the factory set up.
