I saw that pic someplace and for the life of me can't find it and instead found that page. Shit made me laugh. Sadly, because although it is incredibly racist, there is a lot of truth in that list which is actually even more sad. I'm just glad the black folks in my family aren't ghetto. I'd slap the black right off them my damn self. yeah, it's why being overly politically correct about shit is just about as goofy as disliking someone because they are a different shade than you. Stereotypes, whether is be about white, black, jews or any other race, are seeded by some reality. A person should not live their life being affraid to point out a fact for fear that facts may upset someone. My dad would get so aggravated when the whole African-American crap started. "Black people don't know they're from Africa. I'm black!" He'd crack me up. I say what's on my mind and if it offends so be it. People usually only get offended if there is truth in it. I don't get mad when people say stupid shit because I know who I am. If you associate yourself with what someone is calling you then you probably should get upset and maybe change it if what they're saying isn't exactly a compliment. My whole family (both sides) look like something picked from the "master race" catalog, with blonde hair, green or blue eyes thing, but the first time I experienced racism and had to have it explained me to was late in grade school. My best friend Jerry was black, either I was incredibly dim witted or my eye sight was weak, but I had no idea Jerry was any different than me. He was a kid, I was a kid, we all looked different, I never gave it a second thought.....until Jerry invited me over to have dinner one night. When my mom picked me up, Jerry's father came out and told my mom that this was a one time thing and he did not approve of us hanging out. My mother had to explain why to me. It didn't really soak in and to be honest, I still don't get it. Jerry is still my closest friend btw, his dad still hates me. Link to comment
