rsxse240
Saw the Lincoln the other day on MCM. Very inspiring. And such a beautiful car! 1 Quote Link to comment
Small Factory
I build scale RC's at times. Here is a Hilux. Full metal chassis (no plastic), leaf sprung, front motor with center transfer case. Locked front and rear diffs. Drive's amazing. 12 Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
What scale are those? They look amazing. 1 Quote Link to comment
Small Factory
Thanks guys... Those are 1/9th scale. The body-shell is plastic, but the chassis is metal so they are pretty heavy; about 10lbs. They have real bead-lock wheels, and the orange truck has a working winch and I 4-linked/3-linked it as well. 1 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
They the older tamiyas? 1 Quote Link to comment
Small Factory
They the older tamiyas? The only part that is Tamiya is the body, the majority of the other parts are RC4WD. Here is the kit the orange truck is based on... http://store.rc4wd.com/Trail-Finder-2-Truck-Kit-wMojave-Body-Set-Grey_p_4367.html Quote Link to comment
Chuck Most
Bullshit... stop trying to pass off your real 'Yotas as RCs. Seriously though- that's some top-notch weathering. 1 Quote Link to comment

flatcat19
Those 'Yotas and that Mini are awesome. 1 Quote Link to comment
Chuck Most
Looks like the Tamiya kit, so it would be 1:24. 1 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
That's what I thought but he said its 1/9 scale rc4wd kit. 1 Quote Link to comment
Chuck Most
That's what I thought but he said its 1/9 scale rc4wd kit. No, he was asking about the Mini RatVonDude posted, not the 'Yotas. I think. B) 1 Quote Link to comment

Jesse C.
Toyota AA Type is coming soon! 4 Quote Link to comment
Chuck Most
That Benz is an incredible kit- I didn't even want one until I saw an unboxing on YouTube. That Toyota AA looks cool, but I'd really like to see somebody bring out a 1:24 Datsun L210. Then I could build a model of Fisch's "Samurat". Just got a rather interesting model recently- '68 Ford Thunderbird promo by AMT. The twist is this one has a built-in Philco AM radio. I got this one for ten bucks. They're kind of rare, but not particularly valuable, so I have no issues with rebuilding this one. B) I may not be able to get the radio working again, but I think I can still make a halfway decent looking shelf model out of it. 4 Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
I may not be able to get the radio working again... Hide an ipod nano in it. ^_^ 4 Quote Link to comment
