flatcat19
Well, they made a little more than half of that. 521. Probably a 69 or 70? That's as far as I can see. My eyes hurt looking at that. Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
It's a 521. The bed and bumper are not Datsun. Or the mirrors. Or whatever they filled in under the grille. Or the color. Quote Link to comment
Rocket Dog
Actually someone put a lot of work in that. It looks like a 521 Jeepney variant to me. Quote Link to comment
'70dime
Is that not a 510 grill? Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Is that not a 510 grill? No. It's a 521 grill. 69 or 70. On a 521 truck. And it does not fit a 510. Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
I don`t think it looks that bad at all, if you took off that 1978 Chevy truck bumper and put ,,,, anything else on there.. I would totally cruise that bitch everywhere. It looks like it needs to be driven to the beach ,,,,,,,,,, by me. 1 Quote Link to comment
wayno
It took some work to make it, so lets not rank it to much, but I would agree the front bumper needs to go. The bed should have been a little longer, wonder what's in the engine compartment? Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
No. It's a 521 grill. 69 or 70. On a 521 truck. And it does not fit a 510. But just possibly might be persuaded to fit a 410 or 411 if the attaching bolt hole tabs could be massaged a little. The width looks OK. Quote Link to comment
Eric
If i buy this i want it to look like it should look but i guess that would be a lot of work and i am pretty sure ther are no parts for it over here Quote Link to comment
DanielC
It is a 521. With a custom "Woody" bed. Like most 521 trucks, it possibly hit something on the front end, and needed some parts replaced, And where ever this truck is located, there pay not be as good of a supply of 521 trucks in junkyards, or sitting in farmers firlds to get replacement body parts from. Take a bumper off another truck, and you have to most likely shorten it. Bigger bumper, makes finding a good front apron less of a need. the rail below the grill opening, instead of spending a lot of time trying to get it straight, cover it with one piece of metal, and that is done. so you do not like it, lets see your truck. Stoffregen Motorsports
Looks like a Dodge Lil' Red Wagon. https://www.google.com/search?q=dodge+lil+red+wagon&sa=G&hl=en&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&ei=jzxSUuDSG4f2iwKEtIC4Aw&ved=0CCwQsAQ&biw=1680&bih=918&dpr=1 Quote Link to comment
Dawa
i liiiike it. i just wish the bed was longer. and the sidewalls were shorter Quote Link to comment
wayno
Something looks strange with the rockers also, I don't think they are original, and the front fender don't go all the way down either. I think trying to go back to original will be nearly impossible where you are at, it would likely be easier and maybe cheaper to import one that already is original. It looks decent the way it is, although I would lose the bumper and front marker lights/turn signal lights, the ones on there look cheap. Quote Link to comment
