    3d printing

So will this topic be the part of the internet we need to visit for any 620 parts that needs te be reproduced? I'd love to get the files needed to print some stuff because i live in the Netherlands and parts are hard to come by. I can have parts printed over here so just the files would be very helpful. Clamshell, gauge bezel, etc.
  2. Buy a 78 or 79 truck, they have discs up front. But that cant be swapped on an earlier truck without hacking and welding.
  3. Nice updates! Not sure if i like the Hako front though, there are more Hako's than C30's. Is the front lip mold re-useable?
  4. No just 2 front seat and a rear bench
  5. Well mine has something on the inside as well, so probably from another car. I'll go and look for a replacement.
  6. My C30 Laurel has an under dash hand brake, same as 620
  7. Don't know if i want to repair this one or get me another one maybe. Thanks for the picture @Jersey that's a great help. You have a picture form the inside of the tube? it looks like there was a little 'door' in there but there is nothing anymore.
  8. Thats is a 1800 motor which was in the Shortnose C10, The C30 Laurel and the later C130 Laurel. Called G18 or G20. There even was a G15, 1500cc available in the cheapest C10 Skyline.
  9. That looks like the original Nissan pipe from MAF to turbo so it shouldn't have any issues as long as fresh air is getting there.

    Check valve fuel tank

Number 7 is the one to replace, i have bought a new one way valve but now the question is how should it be fitted? Is it open from the gas tank to the fuel neck or is it open from the fuel neck to the gas tank? I it to let pressure out of the tank or the vent the tank so let air into the tank? And where does the other end of the line go to? Number 6 is connected to number 7, the pipes makes a U bend after that and then what? Where to connect it to?
  15. Just use the sr20 wiring harness, this is what you need:

How is it legal to drive around with wheels/tyres like that sticking out of the body 😄 Gotta love America!
  17. Nice project, i see you have a flat part on the inside your bed lid, is that factory? Do you have more pictures of it? My truck does not have this this and i would like to make one myself.
  18. Completely unbolted the parking brake cables from the center of the truck. drum slide over the shoes without any problems. so now the drums are on, but i cant refit te parking brake cables because the drums would get stuck 🙂 let's figure that out tomorrow.
  19. The truck is a 79, the spare brake shoes are from a truck with drums on all four corners and they are the same as the shoes on my truck. the only thing i didn't check yet is the size of the wheel cylinders. The adjusters are all the way in.
  20. lining is the same on all shoes, so maybe it needs to be like that?
  21. Just checked the shoes, all 4 of them have the same lining. i have 3 spare shoes and they have the same lining as well.
  22. I don't know @thisismatt this is how it was when i bought it so i put i back like that. have never driven the car. trailing shoe is the shoe with or without the handbrake lever attached? Both shoes do look exactly the same from this picture.
  23. I used the shoes that were already in it, on the 620 one of the shoes has an extra lever for the handbrake. so there is no switching sides by mistake. unless the previous owner had the handbrake lever installed on the wrong shoe. i will check that. The brakes have no brake fluid in them yet. So any change of the pedal would have nothing to do with the shoes. the return spring is on, and the cylinder is completely compressed. I only took this one picture of the finished result, the lining appears to be the same on both sides.
