His statement is very speculative, but well within the norm. Edit: His comment is not without merit. Generally we only hear crickets from the Muslim populations of the world when things like this happen. No condemnation but we have seen wide spread celebration. History shows that he refused to give up conquered land and many of his men (hundreds of thousands) were captured by being surrounded and cut off. The smart thing would have been to strategically retreat and counter attack to reclaim it. He also constantly meddled with local generals plans. Hitler easily over ran the weak European nations and this gave everyone the false sense that he knew what he was doing but as the war dragged on he should have listened more to his generals that were on the ground and left some of the planning to them. 2 Quote Link to comment
