close. I always refered to it as pretending to have money just long enough.

there is new money and there is 80's money. I actually am jealous of 80's money because it exists, new money seems like a headache that can be taken away whenever the wind changes

Critically, cars arriving for the H2Oi are extremely prone to violations of the state’s vehicle code. While many modifications – such as extremely low suspensions – may be on-trend for show participants, they aren’t seen as admirably in the eyes of the law.

“One of the biggest things we are looking at again this year is excessive camber,” said OCPD Public Information Officer Lindsay O’Neal. “That is our biggest issue, again, because it is so unsafe and unfortunately very prevalent with this crowd.

“Camber” refers to the angle of a vehicle’s tires relative to a perfect vertical plane. Most cars, with their suspension at rest, have no perceptible camber angle. But installing shorter shock absorbers in a car not made for them will pivot the wheels up via the joints that connect them to the vehicle’s axle, creating what is known as “negative camber,” something which is plainly visible when traveling behind a car whose tires appear to be flared out at an extreme angle.

I read somewhere, probably on here, that they were going to start ticketing for that somewhere. I personally don't like the look of camber so I don't have to worry about it with any of my rigs but I'm sure there is a point where the tires just aren't doing their job anymore with the angles that some people have them at yeah?

Sounds like the car guys should threaten to move event to neighboring town , that story while bitching the whole time mentions, 164,206 participants.. Money talks and that would make the businesses get off their high horse and maybe call a spade a spade.

They used to give almost every other car going through Shoalwater bay Rez some kinda ticket.. Someone wrote the local newspaper saying they would never go to that casino ever again, because they got one of these abitrary BS tickets,, you see cops now but you don't see people getting tickets at all.

Oh and someone should comment at the bottom that,  shorter shocks doesn't lower the car.

I was going to but you beat me. You are 110% correct and they (whoever said that or wrote that or the copy the type setter and the printer) should be embarrassed for themselves. I am for them.

BTW stance and mad camber are the most retarted things on the road. Cops should just shoot those fuckers.

And if you don't fill the survey?

Ya gone send the dollar back?

Minus the cost of a stamp?

they sent a postage paid envelope to return paper survey if no internet access

Return to sender is free.

If you spend that dollar without doing the survey, you will carry the curse. DONT DO IT!

lol

A dollar's worth of curse isn't going to go far today. Not like back in the 70s.

dude i pick up pennies, a dollar is sacred

Yes in theory. If you are making $15 / hour and you took the time off to pick it up you lost about twice that much. Four times in your case as you have to bend over further. Throw in a donation jar.... that's the only use for it. Someone else can waste the time adding it to other pennies.
