I put brand new wipers on my '76 620 and on my 310. It doesn't rain when I've driven them.

 

My '74 has nasty moss coated 3-year old wipers. I drove it Monday and Tues. It rained.

 

I drove the 310 today. Yup, no rain.

 

The wiper blade gods are laughing at me.

Have to run wipers on mine. My truck is my "rainy day" ride. My DD is a motorcycle. No wipers on it. ;)

i run wipers and rain-x. wipers for slow speed. i used to live in fl and drive 80mph in the rain no wipers casue rain-x works so well. i do all the windows on my cars with it

It is illegal to not have wipers in California! I got pulled over in my 1967 scout just because both sides weren't on, it works I had just not turned on the passenger side!

I am in the no-wipers boat, but I wouldn't recommend it. My wipers will be on as soon as I have the pieces.

Interesting....I'm king of getting pulled over for the sake of being harassed.

 

-window tint

-no front plate

-something hanging from rear view mirror

-near bald tires

-loud exhaust

-2" crack in lower right corner of windshield

-stereo too loud

-car too low

 

These are the things I can remember.......I'm sure there's more.

 

The only thing I've actually been ticketed for from the above is the front plate......the rest was just an excuse to check to see if my shit is legit...I'm assuming.

Wow triple pulled over for something hanging from mirror..... Unless u are dryig pot or the loins of the last hooker u desposed of I can't think of a single thing that would get u pulled over if it was hanging from your mirror..... Like I told my buddy cops will think of any reason to pull u over ..... I run no front plates in wa on three of my cars and I haven't been stopped for it ...... Knock on wood

I live in NJ. Haven't had wipers on my cars for years. Its a cleaner look. Don't care if its legal or not. Worse case scenario, carry em in your trunk & install in case of emergency.

I think dattos look silly with their little wiper studs sticking out with no wipers.

If anyone needs some I have two stock 620 sets.. One is bare the other has a few flakes of purple paint on them. 20$ + shipping per set.

let me put it this way when i was building my car i had not found a wiper motor yet so i drove to montery to see my gf at the time well when i went to go home it started pouring and i mean to the point i was considering building an arc and having to drive home with no wipers sucked

 

the point is put them on even if you dont use them alot you will be thankful when you do have to use them

bottle of windex and one wiper for the fact that the other ones spring is garbage and dosnt pull it to the window so at about 5-10 mph it starts to lift

I live in oregon. I only use my wipers under 25mph and at stops. Or when someone cuts me off.

I thought the law in Oregon was it was illegal to drive without wipers. But it's okay to drive without a windshield... as long as you have wipers.... I've always heard that. Never read the law myself.

Washington is like that. Grease monkey ran thru several 1200 parts cars and he alleyways got them going before we stripped them. Then we pulled evey piece off of it but front seats, wipers and rear glass. Because you also have to have rear glass in wsshinton.

Let me ad that a completely stripped stock 1200 is a blast to drive.
