The guy I bought it from down in L.A. did the original spray. I had the guy right down the street from me spray a few panels that I didn't like and also the gas door and the dash. Thinking about hitting the bed again too, but likely no. There are worse things that need the cash. Good work, just so spendy. He's good though, got lots of magazines of his work on the walls.

The fronts don't fit because they're shorter and the hub caps stick out too far. I've been looking for a solution forever. I only need like half an inch. When I put on my new lower arms, they'll suck the wheel in about that so I might throw on a spacer to bring it back out and make the center cap fit. That seems to be the easiest solution and keep the original caps on it.

Jan 2012. Where the hell is that paperwork? It's reg'd.

The two under the radiator are weak and get bent up pretty easily.  You can almost stand on the bumper and bend them down, but you run the risk of damaging the bumper or grill.....so it's best to take them off.  While you're at it, you may want to figure out how to weld on a bit of reinforcement....but then again....I'd rather have the brackets bend with a light tap than to have the bumper dent.

hey,  holy cheet,   i agree with erich on something.......this may be the start to a real good week.... ditch the caps gives a real les schwab feel to the wheel ...... especially when your truck is so epically beautiful....
