After what you went through upon opening a delivery box a few weeks ago, I would probably go into a panic attack, sweat cold, start shaking and stutering ...... would run away before opening the box..... seriously !

The MK3 Golf/Jetta uses a fuel pump with a built in surge tank. Just gravity feed to the tank, and let the pump take care of the rest. I like OEM fuel pump solutions as they tend to be quieter. Just have to make sure the pump is up to the motor at hand.

With these weapons of mass construction, the fuel line shortage can finally be remedied.



After straightening out the spool of fuel line(which was no easy task, mind you)...



... I spent a good while forming the new line with the old one as a pattern. Here's what came out:






I did, unfortunately, make a boo-boo on one of the bends. Tried to be creative and it ended up biting me back. I hope this doesn't cause too much of a restriction in the line..
