MicroMachinery
Oh yeah? I'll do a little research and see if they are very similar. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I haven't read everything you are trying to do but saw CA18DE. This was an '85 S12 and it's everything forward of the ECU to the engine EFI. If it will help I'll bring to Canby. 1 Quote Link to comment

MicroMachinery
With the old engine out, I needed to swap the oil pan and pickup onto the new heart. Removed and gave em a good washing. The awkward, old oil pan and pickup that came off the LZ23... ... actually looked pretty clean inside. Me likey. As did the internals of the LZ itself :D Not bad for the floggings I've put this thing through up in the hills and down in the bogs. Quote Link to comment

MicroMachinery
The 4 blade one? Quote Link to comment
Draker
The 4 blade one? Yeah the 4 blade. I think found one though. Even if it was available I probably won't need it now. Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
Ok. I was gonna say, I think I may have a spare you can have. Let me know if you end up needing it. Quote Link to comment

MicroMachinery
Married up.. Ended up having to open the holes up on the trans mount a little bit.. ... to make room for the larger hardware. Had to keep this spacer on to keep the mount from contacting the body of the transmission. As you can see, without it, there would have been issues. Quote Link to comment

MicroMachinery
Had to go underneath and loosen the 4 bolts that held on the automatic shifter. Afterwards, I was left with this: Pic of the under the shifter to show 4 nuts/studs that hold it in place: Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
I don't think the ZX trans could have fit more perfectly. Minimal trimming will be required to allow the shifter to reach all gears... Booyeah. Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
Got some time to deal with the munched, rusty driver's side fender. The bottom was pretty bad.. ... even left some of it behind. Probably some of the worst bolts on the 610s to deal with. Quote Link to comment
