On my way to the Beaverton ratsun meet I stopped and picked up some new Monroe gas shocks for the back of my truck. Haha then came out to the parking lot where 2 guys were standing by my truck and the datsun talk started haha always cool when people like your ride. Anyway thismorning I put the new shocks on and it's like night and day! I didn't think the old ones were that bad till I compared before and after. Before I could mak the rear end jump by pushing on it and now it's stiff. I can probably corner now!

Well went to pick and pull Sherwood today to check out a z they got in and completely by accident stumbled upon an amazing find! I found a ancient Mazda rpu with what looked like an original perfect condition bench! I measured and after putting 620 rails on it bolted up to the stock mounting holes!! It looks amazing in there! And now I am at the perfect distance from the wheel and pedals for driving.

Oh and I got my ka oil pump in the mail too, pretty good day

Loving that bench seat... I think you may have just made up my mind as far as seat options. Did you ever test fit the 620 seat? I don't think I can find the seat you used around here because most people with B2200s seem to keep them. I wish I still had the one out of my old B2200 even though it was beat up. If only I had invented those future vision goggles...

I never test fit the stock bench seat I got, I used the rails off the bottom to mount my Mazda seat tho. I've seat in 620's with stock seats before and they are even more roomy than my Mazda seat. I'm not sure but I think Toyota bench seats might be pretty close too.

Yea those old mazdas are reall cool old trucks. The one I got my seat from was in beautiful condition and was blue. It's a shame it ended up in the junk yard

Went to get lower profile tires put on the front today and.... They accidentally broke my wheel. They're gonna replace it of course and I'm not even mad cause that one had curb rash so I get a new wheel and probably 2 cause it'd be hard to match the other wheel. Anyway I now have lower profile front tires so no more rubbing the wheel wells when I'm trying to park!

A few shots of the fit, looks strange cause the rest of my truck is covered in mud haha

That is crazy. Looks like the rim just exploded from the center... Good thing it didn't do that while you were driving, and its awesome that they are replacing it. Down here you sign a liability waiver at almost every single shop. The will not replace rims and if they do it is with steelies.
