You probably already know, but get an alignment anytime you adjust the torsion bars... Schwabs does it for me 27 dollars... but find where you want it, do it once, save some money in shop fees and tires... Ive killed a few set of tires, first time was my own doing not knowing it had to be done, other times i've bought a lowered truck and nobody had done it :sneaky:

Haha doesn't everyone?

Today was a very very long day of progress. I finally did my 5 speed swap!

I also replaced the rear main seal and trans output shaft seal while it was already torn apart. The old tranny was a bitch to get out of there and the new one didn't wanna go in the hole. So I got my revenge on the old crappy 4 speed and cut the shaft off it to make a clutch alignment tool and then the new one slid right in place. Then I bolted everything back together and put new gear oil in the tranny and oil and filter glfor the motor. The whole process took forever cause I was doing it all by myself... Finally took a test drive at 11:30 to get some McDonald's for dinner haha

My old pos Asian tranny

Finally got my garage set up... But the floor is gravel so I'm bruised to hell even laying on cardboard

My tranny died to make this alignment tool but it was worth it.

I drove to McDonald's coverd in grime and it was worth it! The tranny was tight at first but after awhile for the fresh oil to do it's thing it was smooth and seemed quicker than before

And more progress to come tomorrow!
