Ok big update! Got a closed chamber head from Nelsontr yesterday and borrowed a few much needed tools from eagle Adam. Bought a felpro head gasket set to go along with it. Oh and it's a w58 peanut head, which means I can run all my stock stuff till I finish rebuilding my su's.

Just finished changing the valve stem seals and scrapping off old gasket.

It's a thing of beauty

Ok so finally update ing... Got my peanut head swapped on! The timing gear wAs a bitch and took allot of convincing. Then couldn't get fuel to the carb which was solved bu dumping fuel in the carb till it ran on it's own. And then after all that work my starter fried... Went to take a tool to skib and he helped me check the starter and It's toast... Gonna find a new one tomorrow after push starting it to get to work in the morning. Good news is it runs better than ever and I can feal the peanut power!!!!

Timing chain blocked, head removed, gaskets scraped, and head bolt holes tapped out

Next will probably be rebuilding my su carbs to swap on or if I can find the parts to mount my mr2 seats I'll mount those

Ok so update. Since the head swap I bolted the exhaust on better and replaced a couple hose clamps that were leaking

And now it's valve cover time! I picked up this valve cover from eagle Adam a couple weeks ago. Sprayed it with stripper sanded down the I blemishes and painted it

And finally painted! I chose red cause... I really like red and rising sun and Datsun logo have red and I like red haha

Probably going to sand down the letters after it dries
