Got a little more done on the truck today.... Well for the truck at least. I made an awesome wending cart out of an old BBQ that was gonna get thrown out. Then I filled some holes on the back of my truck with weld. Sanded off the surface rust and shot it with some quick primer too. That tailgate is lookin like it has allot more butt cancer than I thought tho

I picked up some white primer to make the corners not stand out as bad since canby is commin. Then I opened up the float bowls and cleaned then out, good thing I did cause one of the valves for the floats was stuck shut. Now I just need to make block off plates and pick up some paper gasket material for new gaskets. Planing on swapping them on over the weekend

Ok got some more stuff done for the carbs today. I picked up gas line, hose clamps, a t, and some aluminum bar stock. Then I went to work making some block off plates for the emissions tubes and I made some stub stacks out of some stacks that were cut out of a filter.

erm, stub stacks are called that because they are stubby velocity stacks. I dont think I have seen a velocity stack without a bell shape to it...

But really the curve is the only real reason to have the stack, and is what gives the extra performance.

Good gerb on the block off plates!
