converted_to_datsun
Well got the dumb relay haha it stretches all the way to over by the package tray snoot just looked like a harness to me. Got it all installed and it worked great! It's got the really slow intermitent speed and the fast speed seems a bit faster Big long assembly Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
Been driving around and the intermitent part is completely worth it! With all this misty rain we get here it's perfect. Then my truck decided to go streight pipe again.... Skib helped me bolt it back together again. Looks like exhaust is creeping up on my priorities list Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
Got another kinda cool thing. 620 delux badges... Dunno if I should put them on my truck when I do body and paint... What do you guys think? Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
No! That would look terrible...... Sell em to me Instead ;) Quote Link to comment
Phixius
You get the intermittent off the white 79 at the south pick and pull? Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
Haha probably sell the badges. Kinda cool to find tho Yep I got my whiper switch from the white kc and a headlight switch and a center consol for Adam. Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
Day after Christmas update!! Got a wink mirror for Christmas and installed it today. I love it now just gotta make a piece to cover where the old mirror ust to be Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
On my way to the Beaverton ratsun meet I stopped and picked up some new Monroe gas shocks for the back of my truck. Haha then came out to the parking lot where 2 guys were standing by my truck and the datsun talk started haha always cool when people like your ride. Anyway thismorning I put the new shocks on and it's like night and day! I didn't think the old ones were that bad till I compared before and after. Before I could mak the rear end jump by pushing on it and now it's stiff. I can probably corner now! They don't even push back out anymore Looks like they were leakin pretty bad too New ones in place! Now for a little more work while I'm motivated Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
Well went to pick and pull Sherwood today to check out a z they got in and completely by accident stumbled upon an amazing find! I found a ancient Mazda rpu with what looked like an original perfect condition bench! I measured and after putting 620 rails on it bolted up to the stock mounting holes!! It looks amazing in there! And now I am at the perfect distance from the wheel and pedals for driving. Oh and I got my ka oil pump in the mail too, pretty good day Seat with rays of sun Installed! It was dark so the pic sucks but I'll have to take a better pic in daylight Ka oil pump Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
Just for documentation that seat came out of a 76 Mazda haha looked it up in inventory cause I was too excited to care at the yard Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
Been thinking allot about paint lately cause when spring hits I'm doing body and paint. I originally wanted to stay with the white and black but I might have changed my mind... Been thinking of doing like green with a black hood. Like this color Quote Link to comment
620Aaron
Nice seat find! gotta love the look of a bench seat in a 620. Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
Yea and I like the option of a middle seat. Definitely a pluss that it's black and a fabric seat. It won't be cold in the winter or roasting g in the summer Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
Here's a good daylight pic of the seat and another kinda blurry one after I detailed the interior a bit Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
Here's another color combo possibility ( imagine it on a 620 with a black hood) 1 Quote Link to comment
Kirden
Loving that bench seat... I think you may have just made up my mind as far as seat options. Did you ever test fit the 620 seat? I don't think I can find the seat you used around here because most people with B2200s seem to keep them. I wish I still had the one out of my old B2200 even though it was beat up. If only I had invented those future vision goggles... Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
I never test fit the stock bench seat I got, I used the rails off the bottom to mount my Mazda seat tho. I've seat in 620's with stock seats before and they are even more roomy than my Mazda seat. I'm not sure but I think Toyota bench seats might be pretty close too. Yea those old mazdas are reall cool old trucks. The one I got my seat from was in beautiful condition and was blue. It's a shame it ended up in the junk yard Quote Link to comment
AWSpoofwil
did you modify the air intake at all? looks shorter and larger intake.. Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
Nope it's all stock right now. I have painted the top since that pic was taken but it's a stock air cleaner and stock carb on there right now. Lookin at swapping my side draft carbs on there soon tho Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
Well I had a retractable lap belt laying around from an 80's 240sx I think. So I decided to use it as my middle seat belt! Haha used some seat belt extenders I had laying around and bolted it in there. Doesn't look too bad actually, and probably will be rarely ever used if ever but I have it haha Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
Went to get lower profile tires put on the front today and.... They accidentally broke my wheel. They're gonna replace it of course and I'm not even mad cause that one had curb rash so I get a new wheel and probably 2 cause it'd be hard to match the other wheel. Anyway I now have lower profile front tires so no more rubbing the wheel wells when I'm trying to park! The busted wheel... A few shots of the fit, looks strange cause the rest of my truck is covered in mud haha Quote Link to comment
Skib
how the living fuck did they manage that! 1 Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
I think they were trying to break the bead and didn't let enough air out... Probably woulda been fine on steel wheels but not on my mags Quote Link to comment
Kirden
That is crazy. Looks like the rim just exploded from the center... Good thing it didn't do that while you were driving, and its awesome that they are replacing it. Down here you sign a liability waiver at almost every single shop. The will not replace rims and if they do it is with steelies. Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Where did you go? Quote Link to comment
