Thx....shouldn't be too hard getting her on the road again......

..............I'd give it another week......

 

Ya.....the sticker was made by Crackerjack I believe.......who I don't think hangs here anymore......

...................I gave Eagle Adam the design I wanted and he hooked it up.....

 

It came in 4 pieces and I had to set it up........

You know... I have a Bluebird Deluxe horn button for one of those... ^_^

Is that the center part that covers where the wheel bolts to the collum? If so that is something I will need. One of the wheels are from a Bluebird and is missing the center part.

I think it was lack of oil to #4......I wasn't running a KA oil pump.......

This is the first engine I've blown and the first blown engine I've taken apart.....

.....maybe someone with a little more experience breaking engines can give me some insight when I post oics..... :lol:

I don't have even 10 pesos.....

 

The engine I had in there was the OG, numbers matching block.....it will go back in but not anytime soon....

....I have plans for this block.....BIG plans.....

 

2.2 is in....had some fitment issues so it didn't get all the way done last night.....

 

Hopefully running tonight....then back to the exhaust shop tomorrow.... :poop:

On my L16 all i did was put a washer in before the spring for the pressure relief valve on the oil pump(makes the spring stiffer and releases pressure at a higher psi). to my understanding they are the same pump just different springs inside

 

 

 

ive tried breaking an L series with no luck, though my friend did sieze up his built L16 trying to keep up after i first swapped my 3rd member....
