So this is what my engine compartment looks like right now.

I like the choice of engine compartment coating. I'd like to do mine like that, what did you use?

(I just finished running thru your whole thread and saw the Line-X comment, so no worries.)

Congrats on your recognition! You've got a lot of work in the truck and it's great you get some recognition for the time and effort! I'm going to borrow a few of your ideas if you don't mind. I'm liking the durable Line-X because my 521 is a 4X4 conversion. And I like the way the Red paint works in there! I get my long block L20B this week and will likely go with the red also for the block and various other parts.

No problem bro,and yes its the line x,the only down fall is i like things clean and with the finish of the line x it makes it hard to clean if you have everything polished because to wipe it down its ok,but to use a water hose would be better and yours being 4x4 i think it will be just fine.Plus prep is easy and so durable.

It's just what a 4X4 needs! I like polished parts too, but rock crawling is a dirty thing and a pressure washer makes short order of the days dirt. So when is your truck getting paint, I'm curious as hell to see what you have lined up for it!
