mrbigtanker
Safety washer???? They look cool is what Mr Big is after. We don't need no stinking safety washers. I don't need steering, looking cool is all that matters. 2 Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
Could always take a hit of nitrous to distract yourself from things that actually matter, like starvation lol I know as much as you hope that happens it won't. 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
If the misalignment spacer, washer, and bolt/nut are smaller than the heim ball, then when the heim wears out the housing can slide off the ball and drop completely off the knuckle. You can get larger safety washers so this won't happen. 2 Quote Link to comment

mrbigtanker
So there is the proper spacers in there now, don't let that picture full you,the spacer is to ride as you said on the heim ball only. Smaller side to heim and wider side to truck. double checked and triple checked with some people i know down her. but thank you for looking at it closely i do learn something new everyday. Ill take another photo later with it done. the bolts are longer then i would like but they do work and don't hit anything. I will say drilling that shit is not easy. 4 drill bits to finish one side. 1 Quote Link to comment

uberkevin
Just some steel tubing? And it looks like the long end bolts would hit your rim on the inside. Maybe not.. 1 Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
Just some steel tubing? And it looks like the long end bolts would hit your rim on the inside. Maybe not.. Why would I install this stuff and not check it. The bolts are long and I will change them out but for now they came with the kit and they work just fine. 1 Quote Link to comment
