its nothin special... lol

its a late 74 early 75 pickup.

has the l20 with a weber. has a 4 speed, and probably 4.37s

we set the timing, idle mix and the idle. it sat for the summer and had the battery stolen from where it was at.

i took it to my house to keep it safer... lol

i adjusted the front brakes and have just been driving it since...

it gets awesome gas mileage. half tank does 200-215 miles.. the KA 620 gets like 14-15mpg...

fernando and myself were talking about how we want to make this a more offroad oriented kind of build later. i told him i wanna so a SAS on the front with a toyota axle. then do a flip kit on the back with some rearched springs he has. keep the l20 and the 4 speed and use a 720 transfer case.... im thinkin itd be pretty easy setup...

it just a little more than a pint, but its a mess...

and like i expected, the weber freezes up on the cold intake.. its still driveable, but taking off sometimes it bogs out real bad from being frozen and losing velocity in the intake..

its a good summer setup, but its showing its shitty side in the cold.. i cant blame it. i need to heat the carb. plain and simple.

dad had an idea of welding a piece of aluminum pipe on the edge of the adapter plate we made, and putting hose fittings on either end for the heater core hose to run through. it would heat up the pipe and transfer to the plate... prolly wouldnt be hot enough..

jason said he has an ka-e s13 intake and harness..

im thinking about going with the 240 intake. i have a computer controlled dist still from when i got the KA.. id just have to get an ECU and maybe a can am..

ive kinda worn the thing out over the last few years. the KA is beyond tired right now.. it still runs great, but isnt all that fast anymore.

the clutch is toast. i dont blame it either. its been on the z24 i got it off of from the junkyard. it was on the l20, the z24 i had, and now the KA. its had a good life..

the tirerods and crossbar for the steering are stock im pretty sure. theyre loose as fuck.

the rear leaf springs are almost worn through in the front again..

my carrier bearing is not a bearing anymore. just a sleeve around the driveline, with random chunks of runner supporting it..

the key things is really needs:

balljoint converison in the front

possible front coilovers?

clutch

3link and coilover setup in the back.

new steering parts

my own wheels and tires.

junkyard 5.3L

camaro 5 speed

3.54 rearend chunk

wait.... wut

lol, its sittin again.. tires are holding air tho!

fixed the red jefe 620 and ive been driving it.

fuck me, it needs a 5 speed.. 60mph just aint cuttin it, but ill live..

it runs really well tho. starts up even when its 15* outside.. the KA wont fire up when its that cold.

ive gotta start getting the garage cleaned up again, and get the KA truck in there.. i really need to get the 3 link goin soon.

more to come...
