might go a little bigger on the tire when i get some new ones.

i need to get the datsun fixed now..

wont fire up in the cold. few weeks ago when it was above 32* it started up like normal. anything under freezing and it wont hit.

im starting to think the float might be getting stuck in the carb, or it might now have spark.

when i try to fire it up, it smells of gas real bad after turning it over. im just too lazy to see out whats wrong.

now that i have the big truck i can make a dump run to clean out the garage.

more to come...

yupp. the cold here sucks and i dont wanna be out in it more than i have to.

for a while there, driving the red jefe 620 was workin fine, but it sucks dick in the snow.

i did forget i got a new part for it last night.

jason got me an already made upper wishbone for my rear link setup. so now i wont have to run a panhard. ill get a picture of it at lunch.

its got an adjustable end on the single side, and has new bushings too!

im stoked. this is gonna make the rear setup so much easier to put together.

Check to see if it is getting power with the key on, you also need to remove the starter exciter wire, turn the key to the start position, and make sure it is getting power while turning it over also.

Thanks man! ill do that for sure.

is the 620 in the garage yet?

not just yet. gotta get it started first. buuuut, ill be filling the big truck up with shit from the garage tomorrow for a dump run.

got the coil wiring checked out the other day.

with the key on, im getting 12v to the + on the coil.

with the starter unhooked i get 12v to the + on the coil when pushing the start button.

with the key on im getting 12v to the + prong on the matchbox.

question.

how could i test if the matchbox is sending the trigger signal to the coil?

could i test the negative post when turning it over to see if its sends a signal? or does it not work that way?

thanks!
