KlassicMotion
Was playing with wheels yesterday..... With your z wheels, the car has always reminded me of a Mercedes. With the slot mags, it definitely looks more vintage. What size tires are on the slots? I think they would look better with less profile. - IMO I like the side mirrors. How well do they work? 2 Quote Link to comment

The tires are Skyblue's old ones from Valentine......175/70R14........I would go wider and lower profile.... Gonna test fit some 215/60's this weekend.......but not gonna run them until I'm ready to do the full front strut swap..... They need to be chinied up also............ Driver's mirror works fine.........right one does little but it's better than nothing....... Quote Link to comment
KlassicMotion
Just for reference I'm running 185/60/14 on 6" rims. I'm guessing those slots are closer to 7"? I will be curious to see 215/60. My tendency would be to try 205/60. Quote Link to comment
Busta Nut
I'm pretty sure a 205 will fit.....that's why I'm test fitting the 215 Quote Link to comment

Gonna test fit some 215/60's this weekend....... FYI, that's gonna be about the same "profile" (same size sidewall and overall height). For a shorter sidewall you need a 195/60-14 or 185/60-14. Quote Link to comment

A 175 would stretch on a 7, those are straight up. My money would be on a 14x6 or 14x5.5. Definitely an improvement over the Z31 wheels. 1 Quote Link to comment

Busta Nut
The slots are 6" wide....."shelby" stamp on the back......no idea what that means.......super light though B) Positive 195s will fit no prblem..... 205s are gonna be close..... I think my hopes for 215s were shot 30 minutes ago.... Doty came by.........decided to test fit them on the zx struts...... Lots of room inside..... Makes for no so much room outside........ I can barely fit my fat fingers in there........and that's a 175........ :crying: We shall see....... Quote Link to comment
KlassicMotion
"Shelby" should signify that they are "Carroll Shelby" brand wheels. They made a lot wheels back in the day. 1 Quote Link to comment
