datsunfreak
Finally picked up my JDM front bumper and Sunny grill today. Might try to get it on tomorrow. Are you going to have any stripes on the car? I think The superbee had a stripe around the trunk that might look good on your car. I like the Honey Bee side stripe. May use that... Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
I made you do camaro stripe. Look up like a 68-69 camaro. Well, that's just it. There's multiple different stripe packages on Camaros... :P '68 "Hockey stick" stripe: '68 Wraparound nose stripe: '68/69 Rally stripes: '69 "Hockey stick" stripe: Quote Link to comment
ppeters914
I was originally thinking the Rally stripes scaled down to fit the Datsun size, but now thinking the hockey stick stripes might work. Somebody Photoshop it! Pete Quote Link to comment
RAlly_DatoB210
Don't do rally stripes I beg you. It's just not a datsun thing. Do some crazy japan boso paint if you want stripes etc. There are some pretty cool paint jobs so long as it doesn't get ridiculous japan muscle paint jobs look WAY cooler Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
^^^This, but on the back. Like I made you do :) Quote Link to comment
bonvo
i like the idea of one offset stripe down the car Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Well, fortunately (or unfortunately depending on your point of view) the stripe options are a long way off. There are plenty of other fish to fry in the meantime. :P Bumpers this weekend. I swear. Quote Link to comment
Shagy
if you end up doing the vinyl and need help with it, I have a shop in north Arlington that does some great work and can knock out what ever you need. Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
For the rear spoiler try fiber glass on the stock metal thing on the rear bumper. Same size as trunk lid and similar shape. Let me go take a picture to show whet I mean I think I may have been incorrect in my statement on this topic earlier. I don't think it's a difference between sedan and hatchback as to whether or not you can make a spoiler with the rear bumper filler. I think it may be a difference in early versus late. Here's a pic of a late sedan and you can see his filler can be made into a spoiler. http://i27.tinypic.com/6tmmg8.jpg Apparently the '74-75 comes with a totally different filler than the '76-78. Just FYI the front fillers are also different, the later years are definitely wider. Quote Link to comment
