]2eDeYe
Why does 123MPH sound slow? Sounds fast when you put L20B in the same sentence. :D Quote Link to comment
Javin
I suppose. My sig picture was taken going down hill and it didnt seem to be pulling much (although this was after I slowed a tad)... Still, on a race car I would expect higher speeds. *Shrugs*. It does mention the original 5 speed too though, right? So that makes sense too. Quote Link to comment
zenndog
G stands for engine size, 1.51 -2.0 liters, PMP stands for Production Mid/Mini Pick up, the record in that class is 129.694. The classes may limit equipment but the mini's all run close to that so it is probably harder than you think. I was thinking that a l20b aught to go faster than that as well but......who knows. I guess if you think you can do better Bonneville is in mid August. El Mirage starts in May. oh yeah, sweet truck!!!! Oh yeah, I think the truck that holds the record in that class is a rabbit-truck!!!!!WTF!!!!! Quote Link to comment
villegs
Rabbit trucks weigh nothing and the og1.8 was a kickass motor for it's time, sure VW have crap wiring and are plagued with more gremlins than the Paltzer house, but years of continuing aftermarket support can not be wrong. zenndog
Most of the time race teams at Bonneville add weight to their vehicles to keep them on the ground. Quote Link to comment
Rob W.
Cool truck I like that its all Nissan parts under the hood. I like the paint even. Not sure I want to do 123 mph in my 620, but I would like the 220 horses he's whipping. Quote Link to comment

goes2fast
Why does 123MPH sound slow? I don't think 123 is so slow when you think about Maxton being a standing start 1 mile sprint, it should be faster @ Bonneville, where he will have a lot more room to get up to speed. If I ever get my Lexus sorted out, I would like to take it to Maxton for a run, sounds like fun! Quote Link to comment
