I just noticed in the above photo that they had two different locations for the license plate. HMMmmmmmmmm.

Also, most refrences call ALL of them (Datsuns, Crowns, etc.) W-PICK

If You have seen these toys for sale, the boxs also say W-PICK.

An electric engineer called Rupesh from India has sworn that he has seen the 620 with McPherson struts when he lived over there. When He seen mine he was stunned!!! Torsion bars!!!! Maybe the U model has struts? He is an engineer and has sworn that they were. So I believe him.

I call drunk dude sitting in the bed yelling at passersby.

so i have to post this pik cuz i love it she is dead sexy!

i thought it was a unibody am i wrong?does it have a full frame?

is it a u620?0807mt_03_z1979_datsun_620riding2.jpg

That's a regular 620 that was bagged and turned into a Ute by some japanese dude. Pretty sweet job of it too, if you look closely, you can see that the paint isn't black, it's a shade of metallic green.

A few people are mixing up unibody and ute. A ute is a vehicle that has the cab and bed joined together (ranchero, el camino, all the ones in this thread). A unibody is a vehicle that has no separate chassis, the chassis is integrated into the body.

I'm starting to love these U620s, I have to have one!!! I'm surprised more weren't made/sold, or exported.
