U stands for "Pickup". That's right, all the other 620s are technically "Truck" in the Nissan technical publications (the Japanese ones).

That white truck is not a U model, but rather a Sunny. There is only one Sunny in the United States that I am aware of and the owner is a member of Ratsun. The U model is a four passenger vehicle built on a truck, not car, frame.

I realize that there factory vehicles and not conversions, but I did make a referance about connecting the 320 box to the cab in a thread a few days ago after removing the hooks and stock upper lip and forming it to the cab lines, but had purchased the NL320 from mike and lost interest in it myself, until I seen this thread. I am not a big fan of the 620 model, but thats just me, I have to draw a line somewhere, otherwise I'll be owning 20 datsuns, but that black NL looking U model 620 is awesome.

Agreed. The 620 unibody conversion looks better than the 620U.

OK, I did a little more reading than looking this time, I didn't realize that the darkgreen/looks black truck is a conversion, that guy did a good job on this 620 truck, I really am suprised that someone else has not done this conversion also.
