Everything Mike said I agree with 100% I'll retain the shorty header for my LZ, but it's a mildly high compression and FAR from stock, and may be able to utilize the extra exhaust flow. Time will tell. For stock, a nice stock emissions free manifold is the way to go.

Headers are useless on a stock motor. It would take a lot more then bolt onts to see any performance gains. With my shorty header on my L20B, I lost midrange power and torque.

In all seriousness, if you could print 620 dash bezels, you'd be the MAN!

Why not? It's been perfect for me up to now. It's the largest the 620 rad will accept that I could find locally. It's pretty awesome as a pusher fan.

I don't know if I can agree with that too much. My truck had a cherry bomb on it when i got it and it sounded pretty good. It leaked at the manifold a little so it was kinda raspy. My 620 with a straight pipe turned out of the cab. Pretty awesome. Just super noisy. I ran it like that for a week or so while I was waiting on parts to come in.

That's what i did on my 620. Haven't broken one yet. I drilled about 20 small holes around the diameter of the bushing to alleviate stress.

I will one day! I love the look a lot. I'd have to get a lot more aggressive offset out of them too. They have a really high offset stock.

Too bad stock wheels were too skinny for me to drive on everyday :(

There's a first time for everything. Right before my driveshaft blew up a few months back, my carrier bearing started squealing. By the time I took it off, the bearing had so much play in it I was surprised it didn't fall apart. The race was chewed up inside. The surround was actually in great shape.

Magnaflow's sound great. This is a '74 620 with an L18, Weber, and shorty header on a magnaflow My 620 on the dyno. L20B, header, Weber on a Flowmaster Super 10. Everyone seems to like it, but I think it's just too raw. It would sound better with a resonator. Not a 1200, but it gives you an idea of kind-of what to expect between exhausts. Here's my A15 powered 210. It was fun little sucker. Weber, freshly rebuilt top end, 2'' exhaust on a turbo muffler. I HATE those stop lights! They put them up here in GA and no one understand them. You have the standard vertical lights, then introduce already terrible drivers down here to new unfamiliar lights and it's just a hazard. Let alone even the normal driver can't see the damn things for SHIT in the sunlight. I never liked those lights. Glad to see you're okay man.
