Fuck it. One of my dads friends runs the Notre Dame machine shop with several CNC machines. Gonna shoot him some ideas and see if he can make some. Made me some guitar parts once before, and even made my dad a socket.

Sure. If it's what he's familiar with, why not? Couldn't be the wires that I gave you. I had them on my car for a day before I swapped them around to the set I have now. They don't even have 3 miles on them. It's gotta be distributor related.

I've been in the zone FAR too long. Its been just over a year. I just HATE the local clientele. A lot of our customers are fucking morons. That and I hate COC and WITTDTJR (if ya get what I'm saying fellow zoner.)

In this case, since they're a commercial customer of ours, I can't keep working at Autozone, but I plan on giving them 2 weeks notice as soon as the shop gives me the go ahead and has me on their payroll. Since I'm giving them notice, I'll be on the re-hire list just in case I ever need a job again. I have a 20% discount right now through Autozone, but buying things through a commercial price, I'll have the best price all around

Autozone Got a text from my buddy early this morning that the shop across the street from work, one of our commercial customers and a great shop that's saved my ass a few times, sent someone over to find me this morning. Told everyone they're gonna poach me out from under Autozones feet and want me to come work for them full time as a tech and service writer. I pulled in to talk to them and the shop manager walked up with an application in hand and had me fill out some paperwork on the spot. I was told to expect double my current pay over there. Fawk yeah! Got access to a full service shop including tons of welders, mandrel benders, and lifts One of the techs also is the one that bent and welded/hung my exhuast and repaired my A series head when a thermostat housing bolt snaps, and is an EX Datsun mechanic. Just waiting on a phone call with some details.

Speaking of bigger anodes ^^^^ I used an old brake rotor and my 50 amp charger (clown shoes) on my flywheel and got this end result: This is it fresh out of the water. The bottom section was still wet so it still looks kinda funky. I sprayed it with brake parts cleaner and it looks better now. Moar oics later.

I have it. Don't use it much, but occasionally I'll use it.

lol Highly doubtful Alternators are shit, but a totally different manufacturer. Our water pumps are generally (not gonna say ALWAYS) a little bit better then anyone else's. I have my LZ water pump from Autozone and my A series waterpump from Autozone. No complaints.

Autozone water pumps are great. I sell them all day long, with a lifetime warranty and only once in a year 1/2 have had to warranty one of them. Never had a complaint about them. I'll try an d see who the manufacturer of our pumps are
