Yea, I say burn them with fire. I laughed when my grandma went to look at one. She was like it gets great gas mileage and its safe. Next day grandpa comes home with a 10 year old (at the time) diesel jetta. His comment "look, great mileage, great crash ratings, cheap to replace, and cheap insurance." Only thing my grandma hated was "it smelled funny." Personally I'll take funny smell over egg shaped POS any day, but then again driving my 620 leaves me smelling like gas 90% of the time...

This thread makes hard choices worse... Been looking at a few old bikes (even some really old 100cc ones). With my b-day coming up on the 17th my one and only present will be either a B210 (have to go look at it this weekend) or an old bike/moped. Found some late 60s mopeds that look like a real blast and since I just need it for going to the gym it would work B210 is in unknown condition which is the only reason I am still looking at bikes :P

I want it, hell, I would absolutely love it, but transporting plus the price wouldn't be possible at this time. Once I get the money up nothing will be for sale, then I will be broke and lovely datsuns will hit the auction block... Happens too often it seems. I just need to move to WA and make this easier on everyone.

People just raise the prices and buy out all of the supplies so there isn't any competition. I'll check Atlanta for suppliers. There will probably be a large selection there. That croc pattern is nice. I can't think of a way to tie it in to what I want but seeing the vinyl work you did has me thinkng I should re work the vinyl seats that are in my truck and keep the old school look rather than getting fabric seats (racing) and covering the door cards with similar fabric. So many ideas, so little time/money :(

That looks amazing. Would you mind sharing where you got the vinyl for the door cards? I am trying to decide if I want to do that or fabric and that looks like a good quality product. CJ, I have an idea for my hood but I haven't sold myself on it yet. I know I want it checkerboard but I was thinking of getting you to cut me some vinyl playing peices (rats ofc). Once I get it all worked out I'll be in touch. Would need 24 pieces, but not sure of the colors or how many "kings" I want. First idea - get the vinyls and play my cousin in checkers on the hood. After 15 moves each lay the vinyls were they are on the board :P
