I got her at the pound about a month ago as an owner surrender. She's so great-I can't believe anyone could give her up. Far better mannered than most kids. Same markings, same boxer/great dane head, but theirs has the floppy ears, and looks a bit more like a lab. Just barely though. Quote Link to comment

He had "kennel cough" (bordatella), he had 100's of porcupine quills that I had to remove, and they were coming out of his nose, forehead, etc for months!! Then, he had worms from eating rodents (I guess strays have to eat what they can get). Then he had to get neutered as part of the adoption agreement. He was super-crazy at first, but now he has mellowed out a lot. When he was a few months old he suffered a broken leg and was abandoned by his idiot owner at the Vet office. I think my wife paid the bill, (I don't want to know!) and brought him home.... I was NOT amused. His tail was docked and he has Rottie markings with Black Lab coat. Well as the months and years went by he adopted me. Not too good in the garage, she knocks over too many things, but a cuddle dog, and pretty good at fetching and playing in the river. She's supposed to be a full-bred golden retriever, but only 55 pounds. Got her from the swinger neighbors across the back alley when they moved. I was invited to their nude party in the summer, yeah, didn't go. Goodness knows what Molly has witnessed in her short life. :D Quote Link to comment

He was the largest in the litter and liked to run his brothers and sisters over.
