Sheeeeeeit, what was he driving and what was the speeds? Man, being one year younger, really makes me glad I haven't seen the same situation as you. If I wasn't up here in Washington, I would help with re-assembly in a heartbeat. Hope you make a speedy recovery.

I do think I see a arm from good ole Buzz Buzz Buzz Buzz...

There are a few good parts there.

KC windows like Orange620 mentioned.

Bed/tailgate

Brake rotors

Pass fender

Rearend

Engine/tranny?.......5spd?

engine broke free from tranny, front section of motor is crushed, and the tow yard wants hella money already, can't afford to get my truck out. Parts aren't worth what it will cost to get it out, but I will get working on the '79 as soon as I can.

What do you need for your '79 to get it on the road?

well the starter and coil were on my 78 and i have a short somewere... i think that it is in the passenger side of the wireing harness so i just have to find the exact short...... whats happening is when i try to start it, it the battery seems like has low power. when i know it is fully charged and i tryed diffrent batterys... so when i go to pick and pull im going to pull a big chunck of wireing harness of another 620 along with the stater and coil if it is still there.. if anyone has had this problem let me know whats going on....and if all else fails ill have to find a wireing expert because im not to good with wireing

glad you were ok after that. i wouldve never guessed somebody wouldve walked away from that especially seeing the seats moved from the cab twisting so bad and the steering wheel all bent up. you got really lucky there. i dont think i saw a response on it but do you know why the guy swerved over? did he just have a death wish?
