Orange620
Glad to hear you're OK. It says something about the truck that it can take a head on like that and you just have an injured knee. There's a couple KC parts on it you should keep, the quarter windows and rear glass. Bed/tailgate Brake rotors Pass fender Rearend Engine/tranny?.......5spd? engine broke free from tranny, front section of motor is crushed, and the tow yard wants hella money already, can't afford to get my truck out. Parts aren't worth what it will cost to get it out, but I will get working on the '79 as soon as I can. Quote Link to comment

620mike
What do you need for your '79 to get it on the road? well the starter and coil were on my 78 and i have a short somewere... i think that it is in the passenger side of the wireing harness so i just have to find the exact short...... whats happening is when i try to start it, it the battery seems like has low power. when i know it is fully charged and i tryed diffrent batterys... so when i go to pick and pull im going to pull a big chunck of wireing harness of another 620 along with the stater and coil if it is still there.. if anyone has had this problem let me know whats going on....and if all else fails ill have to find a wireing expert because im not to good with wireing Quote Link to comment
