It’s not saying, “You’re a bad person because you’re white.” It’s saying, “The system is skewed in ways that you maybe haven’t realized or had to think about precisely because it’s skewed in YOUR favor.” As far as socioeconomics, there is such a thing as classism, and although poverty is universally disadvantaging, it is not the same as a physical difference in skin color and how that is seen by society. Do I feel guilty because I'm white, hell no, but I am very aware that the system is skewed in terms of racial equality. Link to comment
