Luft = the air
Hansa = an alliance, a union of something

So an alliance of the air or air-alliance ?

Couldn't tell from the shot.I had F-100's stationed up the road from me in Massatwoshits in the late 60's.I was talking to a Jarhead today who thinks the Harriers & F-35s are loud.I told him they whisper compared to F-4's,100's,105's.He looked at me like I had a third eye.

My cousin Robert Collier Flew the E2C Hawkeye "C" for Carrier. Googled his name and found this naval document outlining his assignment in the 80s. Really cool.
