KiloTango1200
Are you wearing Garth Brooks' shirt? No, It was a sweater I bought at Dillard's in San Antonio many years ago. Women here will actually walk up to me and try to buy it off my back. Haven't got a good enough offer yet. Quote Link to comment

wayno
I was very impressed with this plane on 911, it hit the end of the runway and virtually went straight up, anyone here know what kind of HP it takes to do that. It likely has enough copper wire in it to go around the world a couple times. 3 Quote Link to comment

wayno
These are two of my favorite planes, it's a toss up between the 2 on which is my favorite. My uncle was in one of these above during the war, he had a hole appear between his legs on one mission, he did not like talking about that part of his life. I like the DC3 also, but I like the ones above better. 6 Quote Link to comment

P-38 was the nicest looking propeller planes ever! Read a book about Dick Bong when I was 12, went out and bought the plastic Revell model. Probably this one... 1 Quote Link to comment
wayno
All-right! Another RC pilot! I have not flown in a while now, back then I only had 2 Datsuns and they both were drivers, not builds. When I was flying, I only flew my designs except for copies of real airplanes, and they were flown carefully, I still have them to this day, but all but one of my home builds are gone/wrecked, I was hard on them and flew in a 50 foot box most the time, like an angry bee, and I was upside down 90 percent of the time, Here is the one that has spent most it's life upside down. The racer, the wing was about a 1/4 inch thick. I actually flew this thing for a while till I forgot which side was up, normally black is on the bottom, but not this one, and it got me. 4 Quote Link to comment
