J-Luis
Awesome picture. I wasn't sure if it was a P-40. Still looks strong in that condition. I came across another P-40 while trying to identify the one on the truck. The caption read... Jakub Perka’s famous photograph of Dennis Copping’s Curtiss Kittyhawk Mk.IA soon after her rediscovery in early 2012. 3 Quote Link to comment

Unfortunately, the British Gov and the Egyptian Gov could not reach an agreement and the Egyptians kept it, and well, made it worse. 3 Quote Link to comment
flyerdan
Saw that one when it came to Salem a dozen or so years ago, filling in for EAA's which suffered a gear collapse, I think. Prior to that, Id seen it in '66 when it was a borate bomber, at the Goat Mountain fire in north Idaho. 4 Quote Link to comment

KELMO
Was in the shop (hangar that identifies as a garage) and heard these two coming. First pic is right overhead out of the South. Second and third is of them making a low pass over runway 27. Just did a quick pass and then exited the pattern. 4 Quote Link to comment
