mklotz70
Good vids! That the easiest I've ever seen a torsion bar come out! The clips are all short enough, you could make one vid. PM if you want to do that, but don't have a way. 1 Quote Link to comment

521wasabi
I reindexed my torsion bars in my 521. I turned the bars 2 notches towards the engine. Put everything back together....and front sits higher now. Obviously I went the wrong way with turning the bars. Repulled bars and turned them away from the engine. But now the adjusters at the other end of the bars (end that is bolted back in place) is too far out to bolt. How do I get around this? 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Put a Jack under the control arm and lift it. Bar should turn. 2 1 Quote Link to comment

I found that you only need to move the torsion bar spring 1 spline. This way your able to keep the original tension on the bar or close to it when you adjust it back to the original specks. And you'll be able to adjust it without using a jack. 2 1 Quote Link to comment
LRB
Team, How can I reindex after I’ve completely removed the lowers arms and I am now putting it all together. I didn’t mark anything before taking them off fml..... Any suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks! LB Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
I would put the arms back to what I thought they were and install them. See where it sits and adjust from there. You will need to play with the clocking a bit anyways to dial in the ride height you want to run. Quote Link to comment
LRB
Thanks for the quick reply. Sounds like a plan. I’ll have to figure it out from there. I’m also trying to look for a factory marking on the lower arm center hole, there should be one wouldn’t you think? Thanks again, LB Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
They were all likely set the same at the factory using a fixture or gauge or the like. Quote Link to comment
